A popular mode of transportation is via public transportation. That included the metro, the buses and the train. They were very easy to use, quite accessible to most places and very efficient. I miss the Metro of Madrid...Calgary's transit could really use an overhaul. It's preposterous and totally user UNfriendly!

I like public transportation in Spain, here is a waste of time. I saw the Spanish rapid trains featured as an example of efficiency in public transportation, in the Canadian show, The Nature Of Things, in CBC, with the famous Dr. David Suzuki. I don't remember the name of the station, but I had been there. Could it be Vallecas? They also featured in that show, the "wind stations?"
ReplyDeleteYesterday I spent about 4 hours in the buses to go to an appointment. The traffic was bad, because, too many streets were closed due to the extension of the C-Train.
ReplyDeleteProbably it would had taken me half as long in the car.
