I thought this street in Fuencarral (same area as yesterdays picture) was such a contradition between old and new. Usually the buildings seem to blend together, but somehow this missed the mark.
Do drivers are allowed to park in opposite directions in the same side of the road in Madrid ? A parking ticket would me issued at once here in Calgary. ( If the police happens to see the infraction, or if some reports it..usually a vexed neighbour.
Yes, those are the roller blinds on the outside of the windows. The "white part" is really a mesh with large holes on the outside of the building...it really is a tacky building.
Interesting indeed, specially the part of the traffic instructions only in English. Stop!
